Pupil Services License in School Social Work

Program format: Online

扶老二视频 participates in a cooperative program with that enables social workers to add the Pupil Services License in School Social Work to their professional credentials by enrolling in three graduate education courses at Baldwin Wallace. This program is one of only three Chancellor-approved programs within the state to lead to the Ohio Pupil Services License.

This cooperative partnership is available to licensed social workers who already hold a professional social work license and graduated from CWRU Mandel School holding an MSSA/MSW degree, or from a CSWE-accredited graduate social work program with a direct practice MSW or equivalent.

Candidates who already hold an MSW will be assessed for eligibility to determine whether their coursework meets approval for enrollment in the school social work curriculum at 扶老二视频.

Enrollment requires joint approval from the CWRU Mandel School and 扶老二视频, as described in the application process. Once approved, students enroll in three graduate courses at 扶老二视频:

  • EDU-510 Educational Studies (Summer Session II, 3 credits)
  • EDU-573 Education of Children with Special Needs (Fall, Spring, or Summer Session I, 3 credits)
  • EDU-575 Professional Collaboration and Transition Development, (Summer Session II, 3 credits)

Upon completion of all program requirements, students send their 扶老二视频 transcript to CWRU to become eligible to apply for a pupil services license in school social work from the Ohio Department of Education.
